May wood day: half a ton of box elder

Nine members, four froes, and one very generous homeowner in Sandy who wanted a box elder off his lawn. Four hours later: half a ton of split billets, now stacked and waxed at the pavilion for club use.

Box elder turns beautifully green and some of these billets have the red flame figure. First call goes to members at the July meeting.
