Pole lathes · Spoon carving · Chair making

Wood, worked the old way.

We're a club of pole-lathe turners, spoon carvers, and chair makers along the Wasatch Front. We work green wood with hand tools — axes, drawknives, and gouges — the way village bodgers did for centuries.

The craft

What's a bodger?
